“Love Breaths in Two Countries.” Two person show with local artist Brittany Fan at NPR WVTF’s Gallery at 216 West Water Street, Charlottesville. Show will be up for the month of April and viewable during normal business hours.

Brittany Fan is a recent graduate of the University of Virginia and a regionally exhibiting landscape and abstract painter. In this new body of work, she explores urban landscapes and conceptual geographies through an abstract lens, resulting in pieces that deal with line and color as inspired by local architecture and natural land formations. 

Christen Yates lives and paints by the mountains outside of Charlottesville. Her work is exhibited regularly in galleries along the East Coast and is held in public and private collections including the University of Virginia and GeoBarns, Inc. This new body of work investigates local landscapes referencing both internal and external observations through loose and emotive gestures.
