I have 9 new small works that will be available online through the Capital Artist Collective. The 6 landscapes have been painted on clear gessoed canvas with many transparent layers built up. The 3 florals are painted with homemade duck egg tempera using non toxic pigments on raw canvas. They are all framed in a nude birch wood 2.5 inch depth floater frame. As I move toward a more non-toxic studio to celebrate the natural world around me, these pieces praise its simplicity, nuance and whimsy.
